Family Coat of Arms “Old English” Fonts and Family Crest Fonts
Our family coat of arms and family crest uses an “Old English” font. We have listed the letters of the alphabet below to show you what the small letters look like and the capital letters look like in comparison to “Times New Roman”. We do not use special characters as some languages use. For example some French surnames have a small line over the letter "e" or some German surnames may have two small dots over the letter "u". We can only show the surname and country in an "Old English" font as shown below. We can customize your coat of arms or other artwork that uses lettering in a different font, but there will be an additional charge and we are limited to what we can do in those matters. We reserve the right to decline any order that the customer wants to use a different font.
The fonts on most of our products with the exception of the family tree charts are in Old English. The family tree charts use "Commercial Script BT" for the family names listed on the charts, but can vary with other fonts for other aspects of the chart. Meaning that some items including coat of arms and surname histories used on the genealogy chart can use Old English fonts.
